Flowers are perfect home decor items, but they tend to go off quickly - so why not use dried flowers instead?

This way, you can keep your flowers for weeks or even months, and they will look the same all the time!

Here are some ideas on how to use them as decor.

Dried Flower Bouquets

Gather a bunch of dried flowers, like roses or lavender.

Trim the stems to the same length.

Place them in a vase or jar filled with dry sand or decorative stones to hold them in place.

You can also add a ribbon or twine for a nice touch.

Wreaths

Get a circular frame made of wire or twigs from a craft store or make one using a coat hanger.

Attach dried leaves, flowers, or herbs to the frame using floral wire or hot glue.

Hang your homemade wreath on your front door or inside your home.

Dried Herb Bundles

Bundle together dried herbs like lavender, rosemary, or sage.

Tie them with twine or ribbon.

Hang the bundles in your kitchen or around the house. They can look nice and add a pleasant fragrance.

Shadow Boxes

Place dried plants inside shadow boxes or deep picture frames.

Arrange them in an artistic way.

Hang these framed displays on your walls as unique decorations.

Dried Plant Centerpieces

Choose a decorative bowl or basket.

Fill it with a mix of dried flowers, leaves, and maybe some pinecones or twigs.

Put it on your dining table or coffee table for a natural centerpiece.

Dried Plant Mobiles

Find a tree branch or a wooden frame.

Attach dried plants to strings or threads.

Hang these strings from the branch or frame to create a mobile that gently moves in the breeze.

Garlands

String dried plants together using a needle and thread or twine.

Drape the garlands along the walls, over doorways, or even hang them from the ceiling for a charming decoration.

Dried Plant Potpourri

Mix dried flower petals, leaves, and herbs.

Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil or spices like cinnamon.

Put this fragrant mixture in decorative bowls or small sachets and place them around your home.
