When it's winter, you can decorate not only your interior, but also windows – so not only you, but also your neighbors will see it!

Nowadays, there are lots of pre-made window decorations you can use straight from the box, but you can also be more creative and make something on your own.

Here are a few ideas on how to decorate your windows to add some special atmosphere to your house in winter.

Choose window decorations

Select decorations that are suitable for winter and match your personal style.

You can use various items like window clings, snowflake stickers, or cutouts of winter-themed shapes.

Arrange the decorations

Decide where you want to place your decorations on the window.

You can create patterns, place them randomly, or even spell out words if you have letter stickers.

Attach the decorations

Most window decorations are designed to stick directly onto glass surfaces.

Simply peel off the backing or wet the stickers as directed, and carefully press them onto the window.

Make sure to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles.

Get creative

If you feel crafty, consider making your own window decorations.

You can use paper snowflakes, cotton balls, or even draw with washable markers directly on the window.

Just remember to use materials that won't damage the glass or leave permanent marks.

Consider lighting

To make your window decorations more eye-catching, you can add some small battery-operated LED lights around the edges or behind the decorations.

This can create a cozy and warm ambiance during the winter evenings.

Change it up

Don't be afraid to switch or update your window decorations throughout the winter season.

You can remove and replace them with different designs or add new elements as the holidays and seasons change.
