The older the stain is, the harder it is to get rid of it - but it's not impossible!

Laminated floors often require more time and effort to stay clean, but they can also become clean once again.

Here are a few tips that might help you.

Identify the stain

Determine what caused the stain on your floor. Different stains may require different cleaning methods.

Prepare a cleaning solution

Mix a mild detergent or dish soap with warm water in a bucket or spray bottle.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the laminate surface.

Test in a small area

Before applying the cleaning solution to the entire stain, test it in a small, inconspicuous area of the floor to ensure it doesn't cause any discoloration or damage.

Apply the cleaning solution

Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the cleaning solution and gently scrub the stained area.

Avoid using excessive water, as laminate floors are not waterproof.

Blot and repeat

After scrubbing, blot the area with a clean, dry cloth to remove excess moisture and dirt.

If the stain persists, repeat the process until it fades or disappears.

Address stubborn stains

For more stubborn stains, you can try using a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water.

Apply it to the stain, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub gently and blot dry.

Dry thoroughly

Once the stain is removed or minimized, ensure the floor is completely dry to prevent any moisture-related issues.

Use a dry cloth or towel to absorb any remaining moisture.
