When you know what you want to achieve, but it's hard for you to even start doing something, it's usually your brain that stops you.

It happens for multiple reasons, and each of them potentially stops you from being happier.

Here are some examples.

Fear of Failure

The fear of not succeeding or making mistakes can create self-doubt and hold people back from taking action towards their goals.

Lack of Motivation

Without a clear sense of purpose or passion for their objectives, it can be challenging to find the energy and commitment required to make progress.

Procrastination

People may delay taking action, often due to feelings of laziness, disorganization, or a lack of prioritization.

Lack of Planning and Direction

Setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals and developing a concrete plan of action can help overcome this barrier.

External Pressures and Responsibilities

External factors such as work, family obligations, financial constraints, or societal expectations can divert people's attention and energy away from their goals.

Negative Self-beliefs and Limiting Mindsets

Negative self-beliefs, low self-esteem, or a fixed mindset can undermine individuals' confidence in their ability to achieve their goals.

Lack of Support

A lack of support from family, friends, or mentors can make it harder for individuals to pursue their goals.
