Cleaning upholstered furniture upholstery from greasy stains is not easy, especially if the stain was planted a long time ago.
The task is also complicated by a different approach to different tissues.
The same tool cannot wash different materials without causing damage to furniture. What should I do in this case?
A fresh greasy spot should be soaked with a dry cloth or paper towel as soon as possible to remove the fat itself.
If the stain is planted on a flock, velour or chenille, it must be sprinkled with salt or baking soda.
When the salt (soda) absorbs the remaining fat, it is cleaned with a brush.
Stains from matting, jacquard and tapestry are sprinkled with starch, chalk or baby powder.
You can grind 2 tablets of calcium gluconate or other medications designed to strengthen bones and joints.
The powder is left for 3-4 hours, and then cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and a brush.
If necessary, you can treat the stain with a dishwashing detergent, then remove the foam and dry the fabric with a hairdryer.
For this purpose, a solution of ammonia is used – 1 ampoule of the drug is dissolved in 1 liter of warm water with the addition of 2 tsp lemon juice.
The solution is moistened with a napkin, placed on the stain and left for 1.5-2 hours, and then washed with soapy water, and then with clean water.
Dry the material with a hairdryer.
