If you work on the computer a lot, then you need a suitable workplace to do it comfortably.

One of the most important features of a good desk is its height, because it affects whether your back will hurt or not.

Here are a few tips on how to choose a perfect desk for your work.

Sit in a comfortable chair

Start by sitting in a chair that you find comfortable and plan to use while working on the computer.

Make sure your feet are flat on the floor and your thighs are parallel to the ground.

This will help you determine the ideal height for the table.

Measure your elbow height

Place your arms and elbows at a 90-degree angle while sitting in the chair.

Measure the distance from the floor to your elbow.

This measurement will give you a good starting point for the table height.

Consider your eye level

Your eyes should be level with the top part of the computer screen.

If the table is too high or too low, it may strain your neck and eyes.

Adjust the table height accordingly to achieve a comfortable eye level with the screen.

Test and adjust

Sit at the table with your computer and check if you can comfortably reach the keyboard and mouse without straining your arms or shoulders.

If they feel too high or too low, adjust the table height accordingly.

Fine-tune the height

Keep testing and fine-tuning the table height until you find a position where your arms are relaxed, your shoulders aren't hunched, and your wrists are in a neutral position while typing.

Consider an adjustable table

If possible, choose a table that allows for height adjustment.

This way, you can easily modify the height to fit your preferences and accommodate different users if needed.
