The shadow is a psychological part of the identity of a person who, by nature, strives for wholeness.
These are those character traits that a person does not accept in other people, without noticing that he himself is endowed with them to the least extent. They form a shadow image of a person, the so-called "dark side" of his personality.
In psychology, this part of the psyche is called the Shadow. The shadow is an unconscious component of the personality, rejected by the person himself, but having a strong impact on behavior and thinking.
Mechanical actions; Obsessive behavior (“I don’t want to do this, but I do”); Avoidance of certain situations, relationships, types of people; Repetitive negative situations (“I step on the same rake”).
Shadow work involves exploring those thoughts, feelings, and experiences that have been suppressed or hidden in order to better understand yourself, improve your interactions with others, learn more about yourself, and heal past traumas.
