Potato
Potatoes are stored in a cold and dry place for up to 2-3 months.
For example, potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator.
However, sweet potato should not be stored in the refrigerator.
Beet
In a cool, dry place, beets can be stored for up to 4 months. Before storage, cut off the leaves and place in a plastic bag or container with access to air.
Onion and garlic
They can be stored in a warm or cold ventilated place for up to 2-3 months.
You can also freeze chopped onions and garlic for longer shelf life.
Apples
In a cold place, apples will be stored for up to six months.
However, fruits that have browning or defects will not have that shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.
