While it's relatively easy to clean the oven after you use it as long as it's not hot anymore, it becomes harder over time.

Old stains tend to be stubborn, and it's even harder to clean them if it's sugar, burns, or oil.

Here are a few tips that might help you.

Remove oven racks

Take out the oven racks and set them aside. They can be cleaned separately.

Make a baking soda paste

In a small bowl, mix baking soda with a little water or vinegar to make a thick paste.

This paste will help loosen up the dirt and grime in the oven.

Apply the paste

Use your gloved hands or a spatula to spread the baking soda paste all over the inside of the oven.

Pay extra attention to the areas with stubborn stains or grease buildup.

Let it sit

Leave the baking soda paste on the oven surfaces for a few hours or overnight.

This will give it time to work on breaking down the dirt and grime.

Scrub the oven

Put on your gloves again and use a scrub brush or sponge to scrub away the paste and dirt.

You may need to apply some elbow grease to remove tough stains.

If necessary, dip the brush or sponge in water or vinegar to help with the cleaning process.

Wipe clean

Once you've scrubbed the oven thoroughly, use a damp cloth or paper towels to wipe away any remaining residue or baking soda particles.

Make sure to remove all the cleaning solution from the oven surfaces.

Clean the oven racks

Take the oven racks and wash them separately in warm, soapy water.

You can use a scrub brush or sponge to remove any stubborn stains.

Rinse them thoroughly and let them dry before putting them back in the oven.
