Fluffy long-haired dogs are adorable – they look amazing, especially when groomed regularly.

Meanwhile, even if you groom them regularly, you can still have lots of pet hair everywhere in your house when they shed.

Here are a few tips on how to fix the problem.

Use a lint roller or tape

Get a lint roller or some wide tape. Roll it over the surfaces where you see dog hair, like furniture, clothing, or curtains.

The sticky surface will pick up the hair effectively.

Vacuum regularly

Vacuum your home regularly, focusing on areas where your dog spends the most time.

Use the vacuum's upholstery attachment to remove hair from furniture and rugs.

Empty the vacuum bag or canister often to maintain its effectiveness.

Use a pet brush or comb

Regularly brush or comb your dog's coat to remove loose hair before it falls off.

This will help minimize shedding around your home.

Choose a brush or comb suitable for your dog's coat type and follow the instructions.

Dampen a rubber glove

Put on a damp rubber glove and run your hand over surfaces where dog hair is present.

The hair will stick to the damp glove, making it easier to gather and dispose of.

Wash bedding and blankets

Wash your dog's bedding, blankets, and any other fabric items regularly to remove hair.

Use a lint roller or tape before washing to help remove excess hair.

Cover furniture and car seats

Consider using washable slipcovers or blankets to cover furniture and car seats where your dog likes to sit.

This way, you can easily remove and wash the covers to get rid of the hair.

Keep up with grooming

Regularly groom your dog, especially if they have long hair. This includes bathing, brushing, and trimming their coat as needed.

Regular grooming can help reduce shedding and keep the hair more manageable.
