Everyone loves fluffy pets, but it quickly becomes noticeable that shedding can cause you lots of problems.

Pets can shed all year long - sometimes more, sometimes less, and it usually depends on how hot it is.

Here are a few seasons when your pets shed the most, even when they're completely healthy.

Spring and fall are the worst for cleaning

These are the seasons when pets usually shed the most. In spring, they get rid of their thick winter fur to prepare for warmer weather. In the fall, they shed their lighter summer coat to make way for a thicker winter one.

They also shed at summer

During the summer, some pets might still shed a bit because they're adjusting to the warmer weather. But it's usually not as heavy as in spring and fall.

Winters aren't that bad most of the time

In winter, pets tend to shed the least. They need that thick fur to keep warm, so they hang onto it as much as possible.

So, if you notice your pet's fur flying everywhere in spring and fall, don't worry too much. It's usually a normal part of their seasonal fur cycle. Brushing them regularly can help keep the loose fur under control.
