Where to plant fireweed on the site

Lighting: bright sunlight or partial shade. Soil: any, even after it has fallen. Watering: at first - constant, so that the soil on the site is slightly moist all the time. As soon as the seedlings rise to a height of 10-12 cm, watering is reduced to two times a week.

How fireweed reproduces

After self-sowing and rooting in a favorable place, fireweed begins to multiply not only by seeds, but also by the growth of roots. In this way, kilometer-long thickets of Koporye tea can form. This process can take 5-10 years.

A possible way to propagate fireweed is a seedling method. This makes it possible to increase the growing season of the plant. To do this, prepare boxes for sowing seedlings with light fluffy soil. Seeds are sown on the surface of the soil, not covered, but only lightly sprinkled with humus.

Is it possible to collect fireweed when it does not bloom

It is necessary to collect fireweed in June-August before flowering and during abundant flowering. Have time to prepare raw materials before the plant begins to fluff (form seeds), because by this time the plant has lost its medicinal properties. For tea, only leaves from the middle of the stem are collected.
