Sansevieria does not like humid air, preferring dry air.
Flowering and decorative foliage plants will thrive in pots that are taller than wide - this applies, for example, to geraniums and sansevieria.
The height of the pot should be approximately ¼ to ⅓ the height of the plant. The new pot should be 2-3 cm more spacious than the previous “dwelling”.
Location and lighting Sansevierias, which have variegated leaves, need bright but diffuse lighting (to prevent burns).
Plants with green leaves can be placed in partial shade.
Nevertheless, at the same time, a couple of times a year, at least for a month, they need to be taken out in the sun so that they can form new leaves.
Sansevieria three-lane is a fairly drought-tolerant plant that requires moist soil only in spring and summer, but does not like soil that is too wet.
In general, it should be watered twice a week, and reduce the frequency of watering during hibernation.
In summer, Sansevieria is watered once every 7 days, in winter - once every 30 days, and the soil should dry out almost to its entire depth from watering to watering.
It is necessary to water carefully so that water does not accumulate at the base of the outlet.
This is especially important in winter. Water the plant with soft, settled water at room temperature.
