For date palms, choose places in the interior that are as close as possible to the windows in bright, sunny rooms oriented to the south, southwest or southeast.
Additional lighting will not help dates; they need natural light.
If there is an opportunity to move them closer to the window for the winter, it is better to take advantage of it.
Not every seed can grow into a date palm.
In order for the plant to sprout, you should choose dates that have not undergone heat treatment.
Sun-dried fruits are ideal. Rinse the seeds and soak them for a day in clean water to completely remove the pulp.
The seed is planted vertically, carefully covered with soil and watered. You should wait no earlier than 3 months for the sprout to appear.
For dates to grow, the optimal room temperature is within +25℃.
You should also avoid drafts and do not place the pot near windows or radiators.
Summer heat for the robelena, canary and palmate (ordinary) dates is the best development environment.
Don’t forget to spray often and give your pet a summer shower.
In winter it grows well both at room temperature and in a cool room.
Of these three dates, Robelena is the most heat-loving.
