This plant does not like deep planting. Celery needs frequent watering, and do not forget to periodically loosen the soil. This will save the plant from the crust that forms with frequent watering. When the plant is strengthened, it is recommended to spud it, but this is true only for leafy varieties.
Choose light, loose and fertile soil with a neutral or slightly alkaline soil.
For planting, give preference to a place where the sun will fall.
Start planting seedlings in mid or late February, as celery has a long growing season of about 120-190 days.
Plant seeds in moist soil.
A week after planting on the garden bed, celery is fertilized with herbal infusion, and two weeks later, celery is fed with infusion of mullein or chicken manure. In the last days of July, superphosphate is added to the soil on the bed with celery.
