For fuchsias, pots of standard proportions are suitable; do not use too deep or flat pots.
Where is the best place to keep fuchsia? Fuchsia is a light-loving plant, so it is placed in the house on the windowsills on the east or west side, and artificial lighting is installed in winter. At the same time, do not allow direct sunlight to fall on leaves and flowers, overheating of an earthen coma in a pot.
On summer days, the plant should be watered twice with settled, soft water. In the spring-autumn period, watering is reduced to one time. In the winter months, the soil should dry out completely between waterings, during this period it is better to water the fuchsia once every two weeks.
In May-August, the bush is moistened from a spray bottle with tepid water daily in the evening and morning, and in the autumn months, this is done 1 time in 2-3 days. In winter, it is not necessary to spray the plant.
Young plants should be regularly watered with settled water at room temperature as the top layer of the soil dries up (a little more than violets). The ground should always be barely moist, but by no means a "swamp". With insufficient watering, fuchsias can dry out and sprinkle leaves and buds, wither flowers.
Pruning is required for fuchsia after a dormant period, in February - March. All dry, weak, elongated shoots growing inside the crown are cut off from the plant.
