Wax often hardens on furniture. It can be difficult to remove such contaminants.
First, give the wax time to dry on the furniture.
To speed up the hardening process, you can use ice or another cold item from the freezer.
Once the wax has set, it can be scraped off using a butter knife or other sharp object.
Remove the substance carefully so as not to scratch or damage the surface of the furniture.
Once you have removed most of the wax from the furniture, use a paper napkin or towel on top and iron the surface using a slightly heated iron.
The paper should absorb any remaining wax.
If you follow these methods and there is still a stain or residue on your furniture, don't worry.
To clean wax stains, you can use white spirit.
To do this, soak a cotton pad with solvents and wipe the wax stain.
