Here are some designs that aren't trendy anymore.

Shiplap walls

Shiplap, a type of wooden board used as wall cladding, became extremely popular in recent years. 

However, it has started to be seen as overused and too ubiquitous in interior design, leading to a decline in its popularity.

Chevron patterns

Chevron patterns, characterized by V-shaped zigzags, were trendy for a while, but they have become quite common and can give a dated look to a space. 

Rose gold and copper accents

While rose gold and copper accents had their moment in the spotlight, their popularity has been waning. 

These metallic finishes are being replaced by warmer tones like brass and bronze or cooler options like silver and matte black.

Edison bulb lighting

Edison bulbs, with their vintage and industrial aesthetic, were trendy for a period. 

Now, they have become quite commonplace and may now be associated with an outdated style. 

Overdone farmhouse style

The farmhouse style, characterized by distressed wood, rustic elements, and a cozy aesthetic, gained immense popularity in recent years. 

However, the trend has become saturated, and many designers and homeowners are moving towards more minimalist, contemporary, or eclectic styles.
