Silk fabrics look bright even after prolonged use. However, silk is a rather capricious material, because it is made from silkworm cocoon protein filaments.
Natural silk is recommended to be washed by hand in cool or lukewarm water.
Professional dry cleaning is acceptable, but make sure the dry cleaning is done by professionals using quality cleaning products. At home, you can safely wash individual spots with stains using natural products and water, the temperature of which does not exceed 30 ° C.
Pour silk washing liquid into the detergent drawer. Wash on one of the modes for delicate fabrics, the temperature will be set automatically, not higher than 40º. Remember that silk is best washed in low temperature water. You can't press in the machine.
But silk should not be soaked for a long time - in water it loses its strength. Therefore, silk is not twisted in a wet state, but wrung out, first by slightly squeezing it with your hands, and then in a towel.
