Mold is one of the least pleasant things that can appear in your house.

When it's too humid or dark, it can grow pretty quickly, and it's often hard to get rid of it completely.

Experts explain why it takes so much time to fight it.

Rapid Growth

It reproduces by releasing tiny spores into the air, which can land on various surfaces and initiate new growth.

This rapid growth makes it difficult to eliminate mold entirely without addressing the root cause of the problem.

Hidden Growth

Mold can grow in hidden or hard-to-reach areas, such as behind walls, under carpets, or within HVAC systems.

This hidden growth makes it challenging to detect and effectively treat the mold problem.

In some cases, professional assistance may be required to locate and address hidden mold sources.

Moisture Dependency

If there is a persistent source of moisture, such as a leaky pipe, water intrusion, or high humidity, it becomes challenging to eliminate mold completely.

Simply removing visible mold without addressing the underlying moisture issue can lead to recurring mold growth.

Porous Materials

Mold can penetrate and grow within porous materials like drywall, wood, carpet, and fabric.

The porous nature of these materials provides an environment where mold can establish deep roots, making it difficult to fully remove the mold without replacing or treating the affected materials.
