Linen in bright or dark colors should be washed for no longer than 5-10 minutes at a temperature no higher than 27°C.
Other plain-dyed fabrics can be washed at a temperature not exceeding 40°C.
When washing, do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chlorine. You can use conditioner to soften the fabric.
For example, natural linen tolerates washing well at temperatures of 90 degrees or more. It can be safely boiled as it does not affect the fibres.
The washing temperature for colored linen should not exceed 60 degrees; it is best to wash at 30-40 degrees.
Wash linen fabric in a basin with regular powder.
Linen with the addition of synthetics can be machine washed; this fabric is not subject to shrinkage.
Note: Linen fabric is washed by hand in salt water at 60 degrees Celsius.
It is necessary to prepare a solution at the rate of 1 glass of salt or soda per 5 liters of water and soak the linen item in it overnight.
Then you should thoroughly wash the product at a temperature of 60°C at maximum speed and iron it.
Natural linen is not afraid of high temperatures, so such shirts can be ironed at 180-200 degrees.
Blended fabrics require lower temperatures.
Linen with cotton - 180 degrees, linen with lavsan - 150 degrees, linen with viscose - 120 degrees.
Before ironing, the shirt must be turned inside out.
