If the damage is small, folk methods can be used, for example, vinegar with soda or citric acid. To remove rust from a car body, substances such as formalin, kerosene, oxalic, hydrochloric, nitric and sulfuric acid, as well as ammonium soda, are suitable.
Moisten a cotton pad with a 3-6% hydrogen peroxide solution and apply to the rust mark. You can not use cotton wool, but just pour a little money directly on the stain. To enhance the effect, sprinkle some baking soda on top. Wait 30-60 minutes, rinse the remaining mixture from the fabric and wash the item with detergent.
Mix vinegar with table salt until a slurry is formed. Apply the paste on the stain and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse your clothes properly. To remove rust stains from white clothes, a mixture of table salt and tartaric acid in proportions of 1: 1 will help.
If you need to remove rust marks from white items made of delicate fabrics, use white toothpaste or regular tooth powder.
Colored compositions, especially blue or red, can leave a mark on a white item. Apply the paste to the stain and leave for 25-30 minutes, then wash in the usual way.
