The survey involved 2,200 adults who have cats or dogs. 86% of respondents said that their pets improve their mental health.
And the answers were different. Almost 70% noted a significant reduction in stress and anxiety, other people highlighted communication with pets.
63% of respondents noted such a deep connection with their cat or dog that they can be called friends. 88% listed pets as family members.
