Indoor dracaenas love warmth. Therefore, make sure that the room temperature does not fall below +15 degrees.

Pots with bushes can be taken outside, but only in the warm season.

In what pot should dracaena grow

You need to take a clay, plastic or ceramic pot.

For a small plant whose length is 40 cm, a pot of 20 cm in diameter is suitable.

It is worth remembering that the container should not be too large, otherwise it will lead to death.

In addition, you will need expanded clay and soil for palm trees.

What does the dracaena flower like

Homemade dracaena loves moisture, so it needs to be watered regularly and abundantly (about 200 ml of water for a 2-liter pot).

Watering frequency in spring and autumn is 1-2 times a week, in winter – once, in summer – once every 2-3 days. Make sure that the soil has time to dry to a depth of 3 cm.

What does dracaena not like

Dracaena should not be placed in direct sunlight or in the shade.

The ideal place for it is a short distance from the window.

However, if your windows face the dark side and there is practically no direct sunlight there, then you can put the dracaena directly on the windowsill.

There will be no harm from this.

Is it possible to spray dracaena with water

Air and moisture: dracaena does not tolerate hardening with air baths, so in the summer, if possible, it should be taken out into the open air.

Constant spraying is required - a couple of times a week, wipe the dracaena leaves with a damp cloth.

You can use a household humidifier.
