Short peduncles can be purple-gray or white. The spike-shaped inflorescences are pale blue in color. Flowering occurs in September–October.

How to grow

Does not tolerate drafts well: do not place the plant in windy areas of the garden or in windy hills.

Light nutrient soil, which should be neutral, is best suited for growing liriope.

When there are about four weeks left before planting the bushes in open ground, the area is dug up, and river sand and humus should be added to the soil.

How to water

The liriope plant should be watered regularly, especially with the onset of a hot period with a long absence of rain.

If the summer is cool, water the flower twice a week.

Fertilizer

Before flowering begins, nitrogen fertilizers are applied. Periodically weed and loosen the soil.

This enriches the earth with oxygen and avoids moisture stagnation.

Feed every 2-3 weeks during the growth and flowering period with fertilizer with a high content of potassium and phosphorus.
