Create a suitable environment

Most varieties prefer a cool, dark, and humid environment.

Consider creating a designated mushroom growing area in your garden or utilizing a greenhouse or shed.

Maintain proper moisture levels

Regularly mist the growing medium with water to maintain adequate moisture levels.

Provide proper ventilation

Ensure proper ventilation in the growing area to promote healthy mushroom growth and prevent the buildup of excess moisture.

Monitor and manage pests and diseases

Keep a close eye on your mushroom crop for any signs of pests or diseases.

Remove any contaminated or infected mushrooms immediately to prevent the spread.

Harvest at the right time

Each variety has specific harvesting guidelines, so refer to the instructions for your chosen mushroom type.
