Sockets and switches - often forgotten to be washed, they alone also accumulate dust and dirt. Today we'll show you how to clean it up.
How to clean switches
If the switch and socket covers themselves are dirty, you can soak them in warm water and dish soap. Let them sour while you clean the switches themselves. Spray the cleaning/disinfectant solution onto the microfiber and wipe the switches thoroughly.
You can wipe the sockets from the outside with a dry dust cloth.
How to whiten sockets and switches
Baking soda is a real champion in removing stains, dirt and whitening the surface. Pour the powder into a glass with a few drops of water until you get a thick paste (not sparse). With the power off, apply this to the entire area of the outlet or switch and rub gently with a sponge.
How can an outlet give you an electric shock
However, it is dangerous to put not only fingers into the socket, but also foreign objects, especially metal ones: nails, wire, knitting needles, hairpins. These objects are good conductors of electricity. The current through them, like over a bridge, will instantly transfer to your hand, and strike as if you had put your finger into the socket.
