Many stoves are not designed conveniently enough to be easy to clean.

Some food particles also tend to stick to the walls and baking sheets, making them even more annoying to clean.

But it's entirely possible - and that's how you should do it.

Take out the oven racks

If the racks are greasy or dirty, you can clean them by soaking them in hot and soapy water or using a special oven rack cleaner according to the instructions.

Use the cleaner

Apply the oven cleaner or baking soda mixed with water to the interior of the oven, focusing on the areas with built-up grease and grime.

Don't apply the cleaner to heating elements, thermostat probes, or the oven's fan.

Let the cleaner sit

Let the cleaning solution sit on the surfaces for a while, it's better to leave it for 30 minutes.

Clean the oven interior

After you come back, use a convenient scrub brush or sponge to clean the interior surfaces of the oven.

For the dirtiest spots, you can use a plastic or silicone spatula to gently scrape away the residue.

Rinse it

Once the oven is pretty clean inside, make a cloth or sponge wet with warm water and wipe down the surfaces to remove the rest of the dirt and the cleaner completely.

Clean the oven door

If your oven door has a glass window, you can use a regular glass cleaner or a mixture of white vinegar and water to clean it.
