If you want a hearty breakfast without sweets, a salty casserole is perfect.

Casserole with eggs and sausages is a hearty and delicious breakfast for the whole family.

The dish is enough for 10 servings, and the cooking time will take only about 1 hour.

In addition, the casserole will be stored in the refrigerator for a long time - up to 5 days.

What you need

  • 2 pounds of sausage or sausages;
  • 12 eggs;
  • 1 glass of sour cream; 
  • ½ cup cream;
  • 1 ½ cups grated cheese;
  • 1 chopped onion;
  • 8 ounces sweet chopped peppers;
  • Salt, black pepper, olive oil - to taste.

How to cook

  1. To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Add onions, sausages to a preheated pan and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Set the onion mixture aside.
  5. Add bell pepper to the same skillet and fry for 3 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, sour cream, cream, grated cheese, salt and black pepper.
  7. Add onion with sausage and fried sweet pepper to the cheese mixture and mix.
  8. Place the finished mixture in a baking dish and put in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

In addition, you can make the preparation in advance and store in the refrigerator and place in the oven the next day.
