This is an ideal pet for the elderly and young people, single or for a large family. Nevertheless, you should not start this breed to someone who is often not at home. Without communication, the poodle becomes nervous, can become depressed, and from boredom will spoil things. These dogs get along well with children and other pets.
Personality The Standard Poodle is an affectionate, lively dog that makes a worthy companion. It can be a good guard dog, announcing the approach of visitors, but will never be aggressive. Poodles are courageous, cheerful, love a busy life and participate in all family affairs.
They practically do not shed. Very high life expectancy (up to 18 years). Easily amenable to education and training. Very developed mind (poodles take 2nd place in the list of the most intelligent dogs).
Any lean meat (beef, veal, lamb, rabbit, poultry) is suitable for dogs of this breed, boiled or raw after freezing. You also need to include sea fish in the poodle's diet (give 1-2 times a week), well-cooked offal - liver, lungs, kidneys, scar (1-2 times a week).
It is recommended to cut the poodle as the hair grows back, but at least three times a year. At the same time, the poodle's hair needs to be looked after daily - combed with a metal brush to prevent the formation of tangles. A hygienic haircut is performed every 3 to 4 weeks.
