This capricious and at the same time beautiful plant loves moist air and cool temperatures.
Fuchsia loves spraying from a spray bottle in the morning and evening hours.
It will take about six months to grow a young fuchsia plant from a seed.
And it will bloom only in the second year of life. It usually takes 2-3 weeks to root a cutting.
Pots of standard proportions are suitable for fuchsias; do not use pots that are too deep or flat.
Fuchsias really do not like overheating of the root system; constant overheating can be fatal to the plant, so be sure to use white pots or flowerpots.
Prefers cool air in the range of +16–23 °C. Humidity level. It loves moisture, but the plant in the pot should be watered sparingly, avoiding stagnation of water in the tray.
On hot, dry days, the plant is sprayed with a spray bottle every day.
In January-February, pruning fuchsias helps to rejuvenate the plant, form a beautiful crown and stimulate flowering.
Cut shoots can be rooted.
The same thing happens if the plant does not have enough water: the stomata are open for a very short time in order to conserve water.
In such conditions, respiration and photosynthesis stop and the leaves no longer cool through the process of evaporation - as a result, the plant withers.
