Muscari are notable for their ability to grow very quickly: in a season one bulb forms a whole nest.
Muscari prefer loose, well-drained soils. During flowering, they need a lot of moisture, but during the dormant period, on the contrary, they need a dry environment. For several years they can be grown in one place. However, it is necessary to feed with rotted humus (then the plants develop better).
Muscari feel good not only in flowerbeds, but also in a container garden, on alpine slides, mixboards, and they can also become part of an artistic composition planted around trees, next to other taller bulbous plants.
Muscari should be watered carefully, without soaking the base of the leaves. This bulbous plant tolerates only soft water.
Watering with warm water allows you to stimulate flowering. Water with a temperature of about 30 degrees is enough for muscari to bloom 3-4 days earlier.
Muscari requires a lot of water in spring and summer in order to grow beautiful flowers first, and then foliage. Water the plant every week in the spring and early summer, and then begin spreading the water as you approach fall.
