There is no need to talk about the advantage of plastic windows – there are a lot of them: tightness, ease of care, manufacturability.
However, despite all the advantages, a certain disadvantage is the instability of color.
Over time, snow-white windows turn yellow and look unattractive.
How to wash yellowed plastic windows to restore their pristine whiteness and beauty?
The problem is not new and familiar to many, because yellowed plastic windows are not uncommon. Often, the "culprit" of yellowness on plastic is ultraviolet radiation, as a result of which the properties of polymers gradually deteriorate.
Some plastic windows are more "resistant", they are less susceptible to such a fate, since they have a higher quality material from which they are made.
More components have been added to the polymer mass of such windows, which give the material certain properties – snow-white.
Take the most common household soap that you can buy in any store. Rub a bar of soap on a grater and pour the resulting chips 0.5 cups of hot water. Mix the resulting solution well.
Add 5 tablespoons of soda to the soapy water to make a paste-like mass.
After cooling, apply the gruel on a sponge and wipe the yellowed windows. Leave on for 30 minutes, and then wipe the surface thoroughly.
