Before you start washing, you need to sort all your dirty laundry, as white items should be washed separately from dark and colored items.
If you wash your clothes in a washing machine, you must fasten all the buttons and zippers on the items.
What items should not be washed together
Do not wash items of different purposes together, such as bed linen and shoes.
In addition, any washing should begin with sorting the laundry by color.
White linen should be washed separately from all other items.
Therefore, it is recommended that you wash them in a separate load containing only whites and white clothes.
Light-colored items in pink, beige, blue and yellow can be washed together, using a delicate detergent if possible.
Dark blue, brown and gray items can also be washed at the same time.
It is better to wash large items (plaids, bedspreads, bed linen, outerwear) separately from the rest of the laundry, otherwise the washing machine will spin the items unevenly in the drum.
In the worst case, it will break, and in the best case, you will get poorly washed clothes with stains from the washing powder.
How to wash things of different colors
It is advisable to wash clothes only of the same or similar shades at the same time, for example, red items together with orange ones, and pink items mixed with light purple.
This is especially important for fabrics with high contrast, otherwise the color will blend very noticeably.
