Limescale in the bathroom is a common problem. There are some effective cleansing methods.
How to clean old lime from plumbing fixtures
Traces of minerals on plumbing fixtures are almost impossible to wash off with a simple sponge and soap.
To cleanse you need to use certain cleansing products.
The most effective cleansing method is to use a citric acid solution.
To do this, dissolve 50 grams of lemon acid in a glass of water and fill the plumbing fixtures.
Then wipe the tap and shower head with a damp cloth and dry.
Ordinary table vinegar can also solve the problem.
Prepare a solution of water and vinegar and immerse the plumbing fixtures in it for one hour.
Limescale dissolves well with acids. You can use a sponge or brush to remove any remaining dirt.
If the plumbing fixtures cannot be removed, spray the vinegar solution with a spray and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse with water.
If citric acid or table vinegar does not help cope with limescale in the bathroom, use special products for cleaning plumbing fixtures.
They are designed to combat calcium deposits, lime and rust.
Be sure to use hand gloves when cleaning.
