Regular cleaning will help extend the life of your rain umbrella.
It is important to know some rules.
How to clean an umbrella
Proper washing of your rain umbrella will help prevent dirt from penetrating deep into the fabric.
The umbrella can be cleaned approximately 2-3 times a year with regular use.
To clean the umbrella, fill a bath of water so that it completely covers the product.
Add a cleaning agent - liquid soap or washing powder - to the water. Don't add too much product.
Mix the soap and water thoroughly until foam forms.
Then open the umbrella halfway or completely and immerse it in the soapy solution for a few minutes - 10-15.
After this, clean the surface of the fabric with a soft sponge. If the dirt is strong, apply soap directly to it.
Do not use detergents that may leave marks or discolor the fabric. For example, lead to discoloration.
To test the compatibility of detergent and fabric, apply a small amount of liquid to an inconspicuous area and observe the reaction.
How to dry a rain umbrella
After cleaning with soapy water, rinse the umbrella thoroughly with clean water. Then leave it open to allow it to dry completely.
It is best to dry your umbrella in a ventilated area to prevent mold from forming on the fabric or creating an unpleasant odor.
