You might try your best not to touch any glass surfaces in your house, but it's almost impossible, especially if you have kids.
Fingerprints can be quite noticeable and extremely annoying, but luckily it's quite easy to get rid of them.
That's what you should do.
Gather Supplies
Get a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber cloth and a glass cleaner.
You can use a commercially available glass cleaner or make your own solution by mixing equal parts water and vinegar.
Spray the Cleaning Solution
Spray a small amount of the glass cleaner directly onto the cloth.
Avoid spraying the solution directly onto the glass to prevent it from dripping into other areas.
Wipe the Glass
Gently wipe the glass surface where the fingerprints are located using the damp cloth.
Start from one side and move in a circular or back-and-forth motion to cover the entire area with the solution.
Pay Attention to Fingerprints
Apply a bit more pressure when wiping the areas with fingerprints to ensure they are thoroughly cleaned.
Continue wiping until the fingerprints are no longer visible.
Dry the Glass
Once the fingerprints are removed, use a dry section of the cloth to dry the glass.
This will help prevent streaks or water spots from forming.
Check for Residual Marks
Inspect the glass for any remaining marks or streaks.
If there are still visible fingerprints or smudges, repeat the cleaning process using the glass cleaner and cloth.
Regular Maintenance
To keep your glass surfaces fingerprint-free, make it a habit to clean them regularly.
This will prevent buildup and make cleaning easier in the long run.
