What will you need
- 1 pack of tubetti pasta;
- 1 cup breadcrumbs;
- 3 tablespoons of flour;
- 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan;
- 1 small chopped onion;
- 1-2 cans of canned light tuna;
- 1 cup defrosted green peas
- 2.5 cups chicken broth;
- 1.5 mills of milk;
- 2.5 tablespoons of olive oil;
- Salt and black pepper to taste.
How to cook
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Boil pasta for pasta 2-3 minutes less than directed on package.
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan and olive oil in a separate bowl.
- Heat up a pan, add some olive oil and fry the onion.
- Season the onion with salt and pepper, add the flour and stir.
- Pour the chicken broth and milk into the onions with flour.
- Stir constantly and bring the sauce to a boil.
- Reduce heat after boiling and cook for about 8 minutes until thickened.
- Add pasta, tuna, peas and spices to the sauce.
- Place the mixture in a baking dish; sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
