Men are much more likely to be abusers than women. Could it be any other way?
Can women behave in abusive ways
Sometimes women behave abusively, but they act differently from men.
Typically, men are more violent in relationships, either verbally or physically.
How women behave in an abusive manner
Of course, the behavior occurs in both women and men.
However, women are more likely to choose these methods.
As a rule, women use less obvious methods: manipulation, humiliation, ignoring.
Often in unhealthy relationships, women resort to yelling or raising their voices.
Obviously, this behavior is not limited to women.
However, they tend to practice emotional abuse - yelling, insulting, humiliating, manipulating and ignoring.
Another non-obvious form of abuse is control.
This behavior hides the desire to have power over another person.
Some spouses track their husband’s location, his correspondence, and control who he communicates with and sees.
Humiliations in relationships may not be obvious. For example, it could be a “joke” or an “objective” criticism.
Previously, we talked about how chronic stress affects a person’s appearance.
