In the article we will talk about a new, recent study of communication between animals and people.
A person is able to correctly identify the vocalization of domestic animals: dogs, cats, goats, cows, horses, pigs.
Probably, information with the help of sound among living beings has certain patterns.
In an article for the journal Royal Society Open Science, scientists report that they have recorded vocalizations from several animals: horses, cows, pigs and wild boars. Information about what sound was made was determined by the heart rate and the movement of the animal.
Thus, some sounds were positive, for example, in anticipation of food, others were negative, for example, in isolation.
Participants in the study correctly assessed the emotional intensity in 54.1% of cases, and the type of emotions in 55.3% of cases.
In addition, participants were more successful in identifying the vocalizations of livestock than wild animals.
