Iceberg lettuce matures in 60-80 days, depending on the variety.

How to grow iceberg lettuce correctly
Plant 3-5 seeds at a distance of 1-2 cm. If you have boxes, not pots, then plant the next batch at a distance of about 40 cm.
Do not deepen the seeds too much - just make holes about 1 cm deep.
After planting, water the seeds warm filtered water and cover the containers with cling film.
How often to water iceberg lettuce
Both seeded and planted lettuce are often watered by sprinkling (every 2-3 days) until seedlings emerge or take root (usually 6-10 days).
After seedlings emerge, before thinning (2 to 3 weeks after sowing), watering is not done as often.
What to pour on lettuce to grow
The most common nitrogen fertilizers are ammonium nitrate and urea.
Complex mineral fertilizers are also used: nitrophoska, ammophos, diammophos.
Lettuce is sown when the soil reaches physical ripeness.
It is best to sow calibrated seeds, this makes it possible to obtain a high yield.
