Laminated floors seem to be quite low-maintenance - they are easy to vacuum and pretty easy to wash as well.

At the same time, some stubborn stains often don't want to disappear - but why?

Here are the most popular reasons why you can't get rid of these stains.

The surface can be pretty sensitive

Laminated floors have a sensitive surface, much like delicate fabrics.

Harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing can damage the protective layer or finish, making it more challenging to remove stains without causing further harm.

A stubborn type of stains

Just as different types of stains require specific cleaning methods for clothing, different stains on laminate floors may demand varying techniques.

For example, ink stains, pet urine, or red wine may each require a unique approach for effective removal.

You might have left it for too long

Promptly addressing a stain, similar to quickly tending to a spill on clothing, can make a significant difference in whether it can be fully removed.

If a stain sets or dries on the laminate surface, it can become more stubborn and challenging to eliminate.

Change your cleaning products

Using the wrong cleaning products or methods can be like trying to remove a stain with an ineffective detergent.

Some cleaning solutions may not be suitable for laminated floorings and can even worsen the stain or damage the surface.

Some laminates are better than others

The quality of the laminate itself can impact stain resistance.

Low-quality laminate may have a less durable surface, making it more susceptible to stains.

As you might see, you can't leave stains for too long, and you should be very careful while cleaning it, so you won't damage the surface. Make your floors clean again!
