Chicken breast tends to be one of the healthiest kinds of meat, especially for those who want to lose some weight.

Meanwhile, it often turns out to be too dry, or too unhealthy, because you've used too much oil.

So, is it possible to cook delicious chicken breast without using oil? Sure, you can - just use your oven!

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F for a well-cooked and juicy result.

Seasoning

Rub the chicken breasts with your chosen spices.

You can create a spice mix by combining herbs like rosemary, thyme, or oregano with salt and pepper.

Ensure the chicken is evenly coated for a flavorful taste.

Marination (Optional)

Allow the seasoned chicken to marinate for 15-30 minutes to enhance the flavor. You can skip this step if you're short on time.

Baking Dish

Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish.

To make cleanup easier and prevent sticking, consider lining the dish with parchment paper.

No-Stick Cooking Spray

Instead of using oil, opt for a no-stick cooking spray. Lightly coat the chicken or the baking dish to prevent sticking.

This reduces the need for excess fat while ensuring a juicy result.

Baking Time

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven.

The cooking time typically ranges from 20 to 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Check for Doneness

To ensure the chicken is cooked thoroughly, use a fork to pierce the thickest part.

If the juices run clear and the meat is no longer pink, it's ready.

Resting Time

Allow the chicken to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

This resting period helps the juices redistribute within the meat, keeping it moist and flavorful.
