Sphynx cats require special care and nutrition.
Cats of this breed cannot be fed many foods.
What can you feed your Sphynx
Most often, Sphynx cats are fed premium dry or wet food.
Choose food in special pet stores depending on age and health status.
Both wet and dry food contain all the vitamins, microelements and other beneficial substances a cat needs.
If you choose natural, homemade food, include lean meats in your pet’s diet: turkey, chicken, veal, rabbit.
Offal, seafood, vegetables, chicken eggs, and fermented milk products are also useful for sphinxes.
Vegetables and fruits you can give cats in small quantities: cucumbers, watermelon, pumpkin, apples.
Thus, these diets give the digestive system a break and reduce waste.
What not to feed sphinxes
Feeding Sphynx cats fried, salty, spicy or spicy food is prohibited.
Also, do not feed your pet fatty meats. For example, pork or lamb, sausage.
Sweet foods, flour, canned food, chicken and fish bones, and milk are prohibited.
