Cilantro sprouts appear very quickly - already 2-3 days after sowing.
The entire growing season of the plant is about 115 days.
How to Grow Cilantro
You don't have to soak the seeds before planting if you want to grow greens on your balcony or windowsill.
If you are going to plant the seeds outdoors, you can soak the seeds in water at room temperature.
However, this is not necessary.
For planting, choose a sunny place in the garden. In winter, you will need additional lighting.
For example, phytolamps or ordinary fluorescent lamps half a meter above the grass.
Plant the seeds to a depth of 1.5-2 cm in the soil, 6-7 cm apart.
Watering cilantro
During active leaf growth - 5-8 liters per 1 square meter. m; for formed fruits and umbrellas - 2-3 liters per 1 sq. m.
During dry periods, cilantro needs to be watered frequently, otherwise the leaves will become coarse and the greens will not be as tasty.
Why can't you eat cilantro when it's in bloom
When you grow cilantro for greens, you simply eat the leaves.
When the plant bloomed and began to form seeds, the greens and leaves were practically inedible.
