How to grow cypress
Cypresses are propagated by cuttings in the same way as conifers. Remove the lower leaves from the cuttings and place them in a solution of epin or root for a day. After that, rinse the slices, sprinkle them with charcoal and plant the cuttings in containers with soil for conifers, deepening them by 1/3.
How fast does cypress grow
It grows rapidly: at three years, the height is 1 m, at 7-8 years - 4 m, in subsequent years until the age of 30, the annual increase is about 50 cm, from 50-60 years, the annual increase gradually decreases, and by 100 years cypress reaches its maximum height.
How much to water cypress
Water from spring to autumn plentifully and daily. It is recommended to spray the leaves 1-2 times a week. In winter, the plant is watered no more than 1 time per week. With such care, your tree will be fine and it will remain small.
