Height is 3-8 m, on average up to 5 m.
By the age of 40, the Canadian serviceberry becomes about 6 m tall and 7-8 m wide.
Grows quickly (20-25 cm/year in height and width).
Choosing a landing site
Irga, like most berry bushes, needs a lot of sun for abundant flowering and fruiting.
Therefore, open areas with full lighting (at least eight hours) are chosen for planting.
Irga does not tolerate waterlogged soil, but grows well in dry, airy places.
Irga care
This berry bush is highly drought-resistant due to the penetration of the root system into the deep layers of the soil.
For this reason, the crop needs to be watered only during prolonged drought.
You need to water the irgu after 4 hours (in the evening).
After watering, lightly loosen the soil around the bush.
Why the irga does not grow, what to do
There are a number of reasons for this: The seedling initially had bad, weak roots, for example, it was not carefully dug up.
Thin roots may have been torn off, there may have been few of them at all, or they may have dried out before planting.
Such roots cannot immediately provide the plant with water and nutrition, and therefore no development is observed.
