Moles are generally nice animals - they're small, cute, and non-aggressive, so they aren't dangerous to humans.

Meanwhile, these tiny animals can cause some damage to your garden, and that's why you should repel them.

Here are a few things that moles can do.

Tunnels Everywhere

Moles like to dig tunnels underground. These tunnels can mess up the roots of your plants because moles dig close to the surface.

Root Disturbance

As moles move around, they can accidentally damage the roots of your plants.

This can make it hard for the plants to get the water and nutrients they need.

Exposed Soil

Moles create mounds of dirt on the surface as they dig. These mounds expose the soil, making it easier for weeds to grow.

Weeds can compete with your plants for sunlight and nutrients.

Uprooted Plants

Sometimes, moles might push up from below, lifting plants out of the ground.

This can harm the plants and make your garden look messy.

Disrupted Soil Structure

The tunnels and mounds created by moles can mess up the nice, even structure of your garden soil.

This can affect water drainage and the health of your plants.

Moles are easier to prevent than to get rid of, so use all hacks you know to make your garden less appealing to them.
