Basil is a heat-loving crop; at temperatures below 20 degrees it loses its aroma and slows down its growth.
How to water basil correctly
Basil likes high humidity. Therefore, if you are growing it in a pot, water it once a day, preferably in the morning.
It is this watering mode that gives the best results.
However, if it is very hot and dry outside, you can water it twice a day. For example, in the morning and at noon.
How to trim basil
Basil is not difficult to grow. However, in order for it to produce as much greenery as possible, the plant must be pruned correctly.
When pruned in the right place, new young branches with delicate greenery are formed and the bush turns out to be constantly young and lush.
