Ants can cause crop death. As you know, they carry aphids that attack all plants.
For this reason, many gardeners try to get rid of ants in order to prevent more serious problems.
However, this task is not the easiest.
Few people want to use chemicals on the site. Still, there is a risk that some toxic substances can harm the soil and plants.
Therefore, most prefer to use folk methods. One of them involves using the peel of an overripe banana.
Preparing such a tool is quite simple. To begin with, dissolve 10 grams of boric acid in one liter of warm water, and then soak the peel of 2-4 bananas in the liquid. It all depends on the number of ants in the beds.
The solution should be infused for several days.
After that, the peel must be decomposed in places where insects accumulate. It needs to be changed periodically.
According to gardeners, in a couple of days the ants will disappear.
